Dear Kiwanis friends,
two days ago we finished wonderful trip in Belgium, but experience has
stayed in our hearts and mind. We would like to thank all the people who
were connected with our stay in Belgium. It was really amazing week.
I am sure, that every Czech junior, who participated, got to know a lot
about Kiwanis. On the other hand we had great opportunity to visit very
historical country with kind people and lot of fun. We hope we will be
able to see you in our country and show you Czechoslovak Kiwanis and
some parts of Czech culture (not only Becherovka:-) ).
It is obvious that this trip was only a beginning of great cooperation
not only between our two districts, we hope that in future some similar
projects will follow. As a result it will contribute to increase in
number of Kiwanis Junior clubs in Europe, do not forget they are the
future of Kiwanis.
In few days we will send some CDs with photos, please do the same. My
address is available below.
Special thanks to our guide Karel Van Oostveldt, governor Jean-Paul
Thomas, governor elect Vincent Salembier and last but not least to
everyone who helped with organization.
